As La Spaziale specialists we carry an extensive spare parts inventory and thus can offer a quick turnaround on urgent repairs. We not only service, but actually use the La Spaziale coffee machines daily and know them inside out. Although the La Spaziales have proven to be very reliable and user friendly, unfortunately as with all coffee machines they occasionally break down. So, rest assure your baby will be in good hands.
Italian Reliability – Genuine spare parts
The reliable La Spaziale coffee machines are made in Bologna Italy and date back to 1969. What we like about La Spaziale is that they were quite instrumental and innovative in introducing electronic safety components and alarms. By developing a separate boiler for coffee brewing with electronic temperature controls in all S1 Vivaldi, Mini Vivaldi & S11 Brio & Mini Brio models has improved the taste of the coffee. Today this is becoming more of a norm amongst other brands.
As Australian La Spaziale specialists, we import all our La Spaziale spare parts directly from LaSpaziale Italy and ensure that genuine spare parts are used with every LaSpaziale Mini Vivaldi service.

Trouble shooting guide for the La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi coffee machine.
How often should I have my LaSpaziale Mini Vivaldi serviced?
There are a few factors that tend to determine the service period for the LaSpaziale Mini Vivaldi. for instance if you leave the coffee machine on all day, then we recommend a yearly service. However, if you are performing all the cleaning and water filter procedures as per instructions and you only leave the coffee machine on whilst making coffee, then we recommend a service every 3 years max.
How often should I backflush my La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi espresso machine with the backflush cleaning powder?
The backflushing frequency depends on how many coffees you make per day.
– 1-3 coffees per day backflush monthly.
– 4-6 coffees per day backflush fourtnightly
– More than 6 coffee per day backflush weekly
Why isn’t there any ‘Crema’ on my espresso?
Your coffee could be too coarse and thus needs a finer grind adjustment. The ground coffee is the most influencing factor in preparing a good espresso. The particle size of the ground coffee is what governs how much resisitance the coffee applies during the extraction. The finer the coffeethe higher the resistance, hence producing a well balanced with good depth of flavour and a golden/mahogany coloured ‘Crema’.
How long does it take to make an espresso?
1. As a general guide, the LaSpaziale Mini Vivaldi extracts a good espresso at a flow rate of 25-30 seconds to extract approximately 25-30mlof coffee in your cup. If you are using the double filter basket, then you should be looking at extracting 2 x (25-30ml) cups of coffee in approximately 25-30 seconds. For more information on grinder adjusting and espresso extraction, read our blog “How to find the right grind for your espresso machine”
2. Your group head shower could be partially blocked from caked rancid coffee residue due to poor cleaning and maintenance. Test it but running water freely from the group. If the water is spaying out in fine jets, then try chemically cleaning the group.
3. There could be scale build up in the brewing chamber or solenoid valve. With the handle removed, activate the coffee brewing button see how the water flows. It should run similar to your bathroom shower on a low setting. If not you will to arrange a service.
4. The group seal could be worn or hardened and not creating a good seal.
