Introduction to Espresso

Our Sydney Barista course at Marrickville is equipped with sophisticated espresso machines and grinders. All participants have access to the equipment. The course covers both theory and practical learning. So we ensure you’ll make every coffee on todays menu. And you’ll make them again and again, until you get them right. The practical aspect of our Barista training course covers all the variables associated with preparing espresso. You’ll follow time-honoured practices and learn why, when and how to adjust your equipment.

Each participant has access to hands-on training on commercial espresso machines and grinders. Class sizes are limited to 3 per session so you get comprehensive individual attention. If you’re after a Home Barista Course click here.

We believe that a professional Barista should instinctively know all aspects of making espresso. Just like when a mum cooks, it doesn’t matter what season or day, she’ll always make it right! So, that’s what we focus on, you getting it right, every time!

Using you sight, touch and feel, you’ll learn how to make perfect coffee. Once you get the knack you can move onto the luxury of automation.

Introduction to Espresso is a one day 6 hour course. It includes lunch and covers the following:
