Desiderio Pavoni the founder of La Pavoni purchased the patent of the first coffee machine from Luigi Bezzera in 1902. This patent (“Innovation in equipment designed to instantly prepare and serve coffee as a drink“) was the start of the global espresso movement. Conditions apply: Perishables such as group seal, scale build up, discolouration of brass/copper metal surfaces are not covered by warranty. All warranty work is carried out in our service centre in Marrickville, Sydney and does not include courier costs.
Weighing in at 6.2 kg with the perfect footprint tells you that it’s quite a solid build. Other than the base, Rose wood timber handles and steam knob everything else is made from chrome plated copper and brass. The base is made from heavy pressed metal with a chrome plating.
