The La Pavoni Europiccola lusso (introduced in 1950) is widely regarded as the world’s first home lever coffee machine capable of producing authentic espresso with crema.

Background

Desiderio Pavoni the founder of La Pavoni purchased the patent of the first coffee machine from Luigi Bezzera in 1902. This patent (“Innovation in equipment designed to instantly prepare and serve coffee as a drink“) was the start of the global espresso movement. Conditions apply: Perishables such as group seal and scale build up, are not covered by warranty. All warranty work is carried out in our service centre in Marrickville, Sydney and does not include courier costs.
