Elektra boiler cap seal improved material

Note: Over the past 37 years of servicing and enjoying coffee from the Elektra range of coffee machines, we’ve learned a thing or two about them. The boiler cap on your Elektra lever coffee machine is extensively used each time you fill the boiler. Overtightening has caused many seals to wear prior to their next due service. We’ve overcome this issue by finding a more durable material to improve it’s longevity. Designed to suit all the Elektra micro casa lever and semiautomatic models. This seal fits firmer onto the boiler and has better resistance and durability.

Elektra boiler cap seal handy hint!

Note: If you’re experiencing a continual hiss from the boiler cap. Try tightening it a little more. If the hiss persists then you need to replace the seal. We recommend to purchase two seals as we found in the newer models the bakelite/plastic sits very close to the boiler and sometimes (although the complete valve is new) if you tighten it a touch more the cap presses onto the boiler preventing a good seal. If this is happening with your boiler cap, then install both seals.
